Luma Cinch 2 and vertical grip

For people who are using Luma Cinch 2 with bodies with vertical grips, how do you attach your strap? Do you attach one end to the upper left part of the body and the other end to the vertical grip? Or are you attaching both ends to the plate?

Either one. Personally I'd do the top left lug of the camera and the lug of the grip. Less fail points.
