Lightroom doesn't auto correct anything. What your seeing is the Jpeg loading first with the camera preset applied. Then lightroom processing the RAW file and what you see after is how lightroom processes the default RAW file.

There is no "applied" processing with lightroom unless you tell it to upon import.

Can you clarify? Do you mean adjusting those for your in-camera settings? The RAW file that lightroom reads does not use any in-camera settings EXCEPT when it shows you the image before it processes the RAW file. If you are editing a RAW file, none of the settings make a difference and your image will likely look dull compared to the jpeg it uses to preview with.

Yes, it will come out the same in lightroom because you are shooting raw and lightroom could care less about your picture style. Dpp on the other hand uses the picure style to process your raw file if you tell it to....

Never thought I'd say this, but this is the last time I purchase anything from BH. I placed my order on Wednesday, at noon. They are just now shipping it... They charged me $25 for shipping, to top that all off. 2 FREAKING DAYS to ship it when it is in stock.

For that amount for shipping, I should have that lens by Saturday. It won't be here until Monday at the earliest. No more BH, for me.

Lithium rechargeable batteries commonly need to be cycled a couple of times to develop full potential. Sounds like what you experienced. Also, your (smart) charger will show "Fully Charged" around the time the battery hits 90-95% capacity and it cuts back to a trickle "top-off" charge level.

That's a great spitfire shot, I've just met a fellow photographer who is really into his aviation shooting, he's going to take me to fairford next year I can't wait. He's an ex raf photographer and gets plane side access.

Not really my bag, they all look like they have been through a lightroom preset. I know a lot of people like the washed out look though. Personly I like the style vinz did as they show more photography skill ant the use of light.
