Almost ordered this 14mm lens, but after purchasing a Tokina 11-16mm which I've had previous for my 60D ... found out my 5D Mk II works with this lens to just under 15mm without vignetting.

And it's got autofucus.

Price difference only a couple hundred dollars.

1mm is just so close.

would be interesting to compare the optics. Samyang is definitely high on optics, but depending on photo, I can get a lot of corner smearing at times... I dont get it.

Haven't used the Rokinon, but after looking at photos here, and what's on the Tokina 11-16mm archive, my first thought is that they both look pretty darn good.

I'm curious to see what my full frame does with it.

But I'd be plenty happy with the results I'm seeing posted in this thread for the 14mm.

They are, but not the same price though, one is cheaper or the another is slightly expensive for $20, so what is that $20 difference with it?

Probably just the name. Optics will be the same and will originate from the the same factory.

Ok, then i should go with the lower price one and forget that $20 difference, at the end if this lens will not see much use then no point to go for the higher price one.

Good, i may do that, in all cases what any of them it will not be a big waste, $20 is not much big waste, I have time to see which i can go with regardless of the price.
