Nice shot Bruce. I was wondering how the color was coming along up there. Was the parking lot open?

Thanks, Paul. Parking lot was not open yesterday, but may be today with the shutdown over. Color is about a week from peak, but some nice stuff deep in.

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing….. I seem to miss the peak every year, and don't have any time to get up there this time either.. Nice to see it in your photo!

Thanks for the comments! I'm embarrased to say I've lived here 16 years and this is the first time i've gone. It should peak next week I'm guessing.

I never knew there was such colorful foliage in AZ. It looks like New England.

People are often surprised that Arizona is not just desert, but 1/3 mountains. ;)
