What makes/types of older cameras do people still own and use, even if as a back up or just for sentimental reasons, even old school old sensor types, and different makes...

I've still got my old 10D that I bought new... I take it out now and then and use it. It still takes great pictures.

I had given my Digital Rebel (300D) to my son, but he hasn't used in in forever so I had it out just last week. It still works perfectly after all these years, but without back button focus and some of the other functions I've grown accustomed to on the newer cameras it took a little getting used to. It takes very acceptable photos - we have certainly become spoiled in the past 10 years.

Agfa Karat 35 - my first 35mm camera. Just finished rebuilding it and still use if from time to time. It's really old school sensor type.

Canon A1 - first SLR for personal use. Also still in use from time to time.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Still got my first DSLR - a 350D, still works, but I don't use it much at all, preferring my wife's 1dmk4 or my X100 (or iPhone, typically because it's within arms reach)

I also have a pair of 1D (mk1) that are somewhere between 10 and 13yrs old - still work nicely (although noisy, and only 4mp - they do 8fps and up to 1/16000 though)

Both 1Dmk2n I own have busted shutters.

1DMkIII sharing duties with a 5DMkIII ... use the latter more, but the pro series bodies are so so sweet ...

7.5 years of 20D here. Stellar IQ (much better than what I was getting with 35mm film), solid built, low noise. Not selling.
Regarding hot pixels, the camera came with 1 faint hot pixel at ISO 1600, and in the first month or so, 2 more appeared (also above ISO 1600), so I was worried that with time the sensor would progressively build up with them, but interestingly, NONE has ever appeared in 7 years (just checked recently in IRIS).

A lot of people seemed to have owned or still owns the 350D/Rebel XT. I still have mine as a backup or if I needed to take a smaller. Attach a 50mm 1.8 or 40mm pancake to it and it looks like a compact p&s :)
