I shoot with old cameras: 1D II N for birds, 5Dc for everything else. Also still have my 40D which was my first digital camera and the only one I bought new in the shop.
I also still have an old Ricoh KR-5 somewhere.

This will make people chukkle - my first ever camera was a Polaroid Instamatic, the one with the massive cartridge and instant 4x4 inch pictures you pulled out peeled off and there was your picture, all mushed up with the chemicals getting smudged due to rushing(as kids do) Happy Days...

P.

Some stuff.

Somebody gave me an old Konica Minolta 7D - a whopping 6.1 MP, huge, a dedicated button for everything, in body image stabilization that actually works, and a back LCD display that's useless for displaying photos. it's fun to use, sometimes.

But the one I miss the most was my silver (amateur grade ;) ) XTi with Tamron 17-50. At reasonable ISO it produced very clean images with great colors.

Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

1D Mark III. Everything on and about this camera works flawlessly. It's just heavy to lug around with a big L lens attached to it.

Plus 1 ... when I pickup a body to do a shoot, that weight has dedted me more than once (plus the sheer size) ...

I can use anything from a Rebel XS and above for older camera. I use them as 'throw around' cameras.
