I want to take a second and give a bit of praise as someone who owns an aquarium and knows the pain of trying to photograph fish. It's a nice shot given the pains of shooting aquariums.

Thanks for appreciating that and sharing my pain with aquarium photography.
_______________

It's a nice 'capture' and looks like a great fish, but it's hard to see the fish and expression on man's face 6/10.

I really like your tilt shift effect and composition. A red car on the road would have made it great 8/10

Great suggestion, I have placed a car there, but the only one available was dark grey :( still works though :)

agreed, a car makes it better--but great implementation of tilt shift.

This must be in Europe because the car's direction is throwing me off..

(Ah, New Zealand) :D

7/10. it's a clean photo, sharp, and nice framing/angle. I feel like it's not super appetizing, though. I think the white balance is a little too warm. The oranges, yellows, and greens are all kinda blending in. My suggestion is to make the salad itself pop out more... Change the hues a little bit-- Make the yellows and oranges less "puke orangey"...the greens more vibrant and slightly more bluish perhaps. The purples could use some more vibrance and possible hue change to more light/red. Perhaps add a little moisture/water droplets/wetness to the veggies? (Probably easier to physically add water before you take the pic). A spray bottle would probably go a long way to making this look really fresh and appetizing.

Just my two cents :) If you made it pop more, add more contrast between the colors, I could see this pic in a magazine and would make me want to eat it :D

Very cool and interesting shot! Nice focus and DOF. Seems a bit grainy to me, also maybe a touch bright. 8/10

7/10. i think a tighter crop on the lightning would really improve this shot. other than that its a great image!
