B&W or Color

B&W or Color? I finally got the chance to buy the pancake lens. Im loving it. My new favorite lens. lol

I know the light needs to be clone, but i need to practice with all the tools. I usually just play around with the bar settings. lol. I dont ever really use the tools.

Should i have taken the picture more centered?

BW for me, more dramatic

B&W for sure. It just seems to have more "pop" to it. I like that it also has more detail in the sky than the color version. Nice shot.

I like it a lot. I think you could have been a bit more centered, but it works as is. I agree with the others, the B&W is more dramatic, though you may want to use a little noise eduction in the sky.

Thank you all for your input. I've been getting so many responses about the B&W, im thinking about getting it printed to put up on my wall. Is there any places you would recommend to get something printed on metal?
I was thinking about having them both printed and put up on my wall. Lol

Im using the Canon 40mm f/2.8 Im really falling in love with this lens especially for its price.

B&W for me too. but i can see plenty of noise in the clouds whereas in color version it looks fine

+1 for b&w the off center doesn't bother as much as the crooked horizon... fix that and look awesome!
oh and the right hand side street light being out is a nice touch... some people might take issue with the asymmetry here but I like it from the off center to the lights to the changing lanes car... a refreshing take on a common theme

Agree +1 on B&W and certainly needs straightening.
