60D users, friends and their random OT B.S. (II)

Kind of getting a little stagnant and unmotivated, especially with the winter moving in. I feel that my photography skills and desire to shoot is lacking a bit. I use to get excited to shoot almost anything, but lately I just don't have the motivation for anything. I know we use to have a theme of something to shoot chosen by someone in the group, so I thought we should do that again. Maybe something unique to your home town, something that nobody on here knows about you, such as a favorite DVD or maybe your favorite food. Or maybe a specific shooting style such as macro or bokeh. Gimme some ideas and let's choose one for the week. If you can't do it that week no worries just pick up on the next theme.

I say with Halloween coming up, something along those lines..

A theme sounds good. It's too early for Christmas tree bokeh so Halloween or a fall theme ccould work.

Oh I'm mega excited I'm in studio on Sunday with a hot model and we have loads of 60's outfits, lots of Mary quant dresses...... Yeah baby 60's here I come !!!!

I shot this a couple of years ago with the 60D...I was just walking up our street looking at all the Halloween decorations and this one caught my eye. I noticed this morning that they have this hanging in the tree again this year.

This is a great deal even if you keep the printer. it is like getting the lens, printer and all the other crap for free.

Brenda, I really like this one. Even though you say drizzling and gray the yellow leaves really make it not seem so.

thanks. that's a keeper so i'm keeping it for life, i promise to everyone here . i'm happy with the focal length as well. now i'm itching with the 85mm f1.8 to be his lawful partner.

the 50mm is dead jealous already. been in the box since i decided to pass it on.
