I recently spent ~10 days in this area shooting the fall colors and luck would have it, I was there for the first blast of winter as well. This is a 6-shot pano with my 6D and Zeiss 21mm as the sun was just starting the light up the mountains. It was also a bit weird since it was the low clouds that were lighting up and not the higher ones which was new to me. Oh well, gave off some nice lighting either way. Enjoy!

Yep! The clouds right above the peaks were lighting up like crazy, especially on the peak to the left. This was one of the best sunrises in recent memory for sure.

Excellent capture and rendering. KUDOS to you.

One of my favorite locations. Missed it this year though. Great capture!

It definitely pays to get up early. I opted to have breakfast at a decent hour and obviously missed a great opportunity.
