Well I can't beat the previous one, and mine are not named after photography. I have a dog named Daisy Mae, a cat named Tigger and a Calico cat named Puss-N-Toots. The latter got her name because when she was a kitten, she would get on your lap and do like cats do, show you their butt. However she had a terrible problem with gas.

Never thought of naming my dogs after something photography related, even though I do take way to many photos of them!

My dogs names are: Zinka, Hildi, Dazzle, KaBoom (born on the 4th of July :D ), Duet, Newt, Wren, Pow (a KaBoom puppy  ) and our newest, 9 week old Wicca (she's a Wanga Doll). Oh, and our Norwich Terrier, Chystal (the rest are Labs ... hmmm, photo Labs? ;) )

"Shutter" or "Canon"? I'd name a pet shutter. My dog is named after a pilot from top gun because some people nicknamed me maverick.

Not photo related here either, but I named many of my pets, cats and dogs after liquors...

Bailey, Morgan, Stoli, had a pair of beagles named Martini and Rossi.

There is some what of a famous thief that is very much into photography.
I met this thief on line in another forum.
Not knowing he was a thief and had been ripping people off we became friends.
He sent me all kinds of training videos to help my photography out .

Never with a returned address on the package so I could send him something back.
It was strange because of my business I would of been prime target for him to rip me off.
But he never did.

So I named my cat after one of his user names ( faderplumb )

Decades ago, I had said my next dog's name would be "Jaws", once my current dog (at the time) passed on.... years after he passed, I started shopping for a dog... found a Mastif/Dane mix I really liked, all black and really cute. Before I picked her up, I started calling her Jaws... picked up a red collar on way to picking her up, and when I put that collar on her, the name Jaws was dropped instantly... when I got her home, my wife asked how Jaws was doing, and told her that the name has been dropped, and for her to meet Canon (all black, red ring around neck)
