Wow, great shot! Was this cropped? Or was the spider really THAT BIG!

Thomason wrote in post #16407583 (external link)
135L + Raynox DCR250 along with new adapter?

Thanks guys, it was cropped but not that much and the spider was huge indeed. Did not use anything but the lens itself, shot with manual focus and took 4-5 consecutive shots in order to achieve one good sharp shot.

Love the capture and it also reminded me of the song "En el Muelle de San Blas" by the Mexican rockband MANA.

Yep it's the same San Blas the band was singing about :)

Daniel, is it possible to use the Raynox with the 135L?

If you can hold it with one hand or maybe use a tape or something, the Raynox once attached works fine with the 135L

The 135L next on your list? If so you'll love it in combination with your 35. I poked around this thread for about a month before I had the lens in my hands.

I think it will be. I had a shot of a 100L macro over the weekend and really liked it but I think im still swaying towards the 135L. Just saving the pennies for it just now :)
