These sure prove it's the photographer, not the equipment! I got some great shots even in the learning stage with my Rebel XT.

@karthik2rock - thanks for the Stellarium hint - a milky way shot is on my bucket list :)

As many of the rebels share sensors with the next level models, there should be no reason to not get images of the same quality as the 7D and 70D. It might be better that this just be a more generic APS-C users thread than rebels. Rebels vary more in size, build and feature-set than IQ.
