This is a re edit of a 5 exposure hdr of my home bar where I used the latest option to merge then tone the image as a 32 bit file using the Adobe Camera Raw editor. So far, I've been very satisfied with the results I've been getting using this method.

Now that's a Navy man's bar. Nicely done, Doc.

Now that's what I call "good" HDR. Very nice.

Thx mate, and really thx for asking me to grab this 1755mm lens, very sharp , fast, accurate lens, attach on my body all the time, no need 10-22 for landscape haha

Love the IQ of this lens, recently bought it off a co-worker at a good price and sold my Tamron 17-50 (non-VC). My only real complaint is the zoom creep and the slide action of the zoom is not smooth. I use an R-strap on my camera, which points the lens downward, and while walking around the lens extends out every time. Seems crazy to me that a $900 lens has such poor build quality.

U have the same experience as mine , the zoom of tamron is way2 smooth than this canon 17-55mm f2.8 , and i just feel Tamron feel is more solid than the original Canon :D , but the Image Quality can't be comparable especially at wide open , it way way sharp than the tamron version

The newer VC version of the Tamron had a zoom lock button that would prevent creeping...I felt like the Tamron lens crept easily and definitely needed that lock. My Canon lens doesn't creep unless you lightly force it to.

Sort of a rhetorical question: any guess as to why Canon's price of the 17-55 has dropped so much? It's only $80 more than the 15-85 now.

Over-stocked is my guess.
