Hello All,
I bought 5DMK3 last Tuesday after learning something from my old T3i, I would like to hear the experts advice to buy a Memory card for Video shooting and Photos for my Mk3.

I currently have Sandisk SD 64GB Class10 30Mbps, Sandisk SD 32GB Class10 45Mbps, Sandisk SD 8GB Class10 30Mbps.

Thanks in advance

Go with CF.

Is that a personal preference? Or is the CF a better option than SD cards? Obviously the 5D has both, and I happen to have two 16GB cards, one of each, but they only give me about 800-850 shots combined.

Was looking at a 32GB card to get, or maybe just two so I have roughly 1600 shots or so available. Would it be best to purchase them both as CF?

I know the SD cards are catching up as far as speed, but the CF have been faster for some time. I think you should get CF since you already have SD. That way you can have both slots loaded and you can set the camera to write to one first till its full then switch to the other. Or get 2 copies of important shots if you feel it necessary.

Just in case anyone is ever asked. A 5D3 with a 100-400 attached... will NOT float. bw!
However if you do recover it, it will be about $2478.19 for it to work again. :(
Also if ever asked. If a 12' (+/- 6") alligator bumps your canoe... things do/will fall out

This is the last picture taken with said combo before acquiring such knowledge...

Anyone living in Florida who goes on the water with a camera feels your pain.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,

Digitizing in a snap reflective glory

First attempt of a high-key picture. Any C&C would be great to help me improve my skills.
