Oh man! Those colors! We have nice trees here in NW Ohio too, but what we don't have is the elevation, no hills to get a nice view :(

I know! I just wish the lighting wasn't so sporadic that day :( I tried my best to make it work, but I'll openly admit landscapes aren't my strong suit. As for the Midwest, I love it out there, but I agree about the elevation... that said, I'd trade locations any day, I miss Wisconsin.

One of my dog -- used an old EF 28-90 from my mom's old Rebel Ti 35mm camera.

Thanks CJ, got me considering pulling my old 35-80 off my 35mm canon to see how it works with the newer tech :)

Try it, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. I enjoy using my 50mm 1.4 on the Rebel Ti.

I believe the lens predates the camera. haha

Been eyeing this lighting in my house for awhile. Finally had the right subject matter to take advantage.

That's what I am using for my 7d, interesting that the 6d dont like them. It will use them, but it wont show battery strength or # of shots available

The STKs that work in the 7D work, but don't report in the 6D. STK has upgraded the
LP-E6 that will report all functions. I have 3 of them and they work perfectly.

http://www.amazon.com …o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (external link)

I ordered one to make sure they worked and then ordered two more. I am sure there are other good batteries out there, but I do know these work with all reporting.

I recommended him the EOS M as a go-everywhere camera and I think he honestly used it more this day than his 5DIII and various L lenses
