Canon 10-22 or as many recommend me here the 17-40 lens, also out of my budget is the 16-35.
But I want to ask, been new to FF camera, I had a Sigma 10-20 which gave me very wide angle view on my crop sensor. I want to ask, if i go with the 17-40, does that give me a wider view on my 6D , than what the Sigma 10-20 gave me on my crop sensor ?? Sorry but a newbie with my FF camera, and just wanted to compare the 2.
Thanks again. Anthony

crop is 1.6x.

10 * 1.6 = 16
16 < 17

therefore, 10-20 on crop is 1mm wider than 17-40

I am partial to the 17-40 since I have it. Always been used on a FF camera for me so it's a great wide angle. Keep in mind if you want to be using filters or not.

Another vote for the 16-35. It's hard to beat.

If you want cheaper i just got a sigma 17-35 f2.8-4 from keh for about $250 and its been a great lens. Its wide, i like the zoom range, takes a 77mm filter and focuses really close. AF is a little slow but thats not a big deal for me.
