200L 2.8 II (but because I use the 180mm f/3.5 for macros and the 400 to go long. The 200 is the sharpest lens I own.)
MPE 65mm 2.8 (It becomes a whole lifestyle to take a photo with this lens but great when I have the will or the extreme need.)

Another vote for the 50 1.8. This might be because, as my signature says, it has a dead bug inside it. And the autofocus sucks donkey nads. But it's not worth bothering to sell, so I still have it.

This is kind of the main reason I've been shuffling lenses over the past year or so. After having a chance to try out a bunch of lenses (including the Sigma 35, 135L), I've settled on the 24-70 II and 85L II, both of which have a distinct purpose: 24-70 II as a general purpose/event lens and the 85L II as my portrait lens. I would like to try out the 50L and 100 macro at some point though and may eventually buy another 135L, as that lens was something special for sure.

I also own the 40mm pancake, but I'm considering purchasing a Fuji x100s as an everyday camera, so that could be let go soon.

135mm f/2.8 SF

I purchased the 135mm f/2.8 Soft Focus lens on a whim because the price was so darned low. It's a nice lens but, I hardly ever use it. I also purchased the 40mm pancake on a whim and almost never use this lens either.

My three workhorse lenses are the 17-55mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/4L IS and 300mm f/4L IS...

50 1.8, rarely use it now that I have my 17-55 2.8 IS. I have a 70-200 F4 IS that I love, but even that gets secondary use to the 17-55.

If a lens just sits unused does it damage the lens. I loaned my brother a Canon 100mm macro (non-L) lets say 5 years ago now... don't think he has touched it since. I bought the 100L and forgot about it until here recently.

The EF-S lenses don't see much action since I went FF. Of course, neither does the t3i. The camera body will stay as a backup. The lenses will go away at some point.

I don't use my 28-135 much. It's a good lens but I usually go with a 24-105.

(followed by 50 1.8)

I always forget about my 200mm f2.8L II -- I'll think "time to sell it", but then I'll put it on the camera and go out and shoot, then remember why I keep it . . .

My 50 1.4/8 and 2.5CM the latter is really good lens sharp wide open. The 50 1.4 motor is glitchy probably broke, and I think elements got knocked out somehow...so I don't use it...

24-105 most of the time sits around in less I want almost a 1 lens solution or if I am taking "snapshots" but usually 24 isn't wide enough for me...

My 85 1.8 also sits around a lot...but I do try to change it up with my 135L, specially if I want a lighter kit or if I am indoors.

100-400 sits quite a bit but when I do use it I'm glad I have it when I do wildlife etc...it pairs well with my 24-105. I have used it when I went to the Galapagos. Perfect combo.
