Thanks man! I haven't had this lens out in a while...it's a good lens.

I have only had this lens for a few months but I am taken by its versatility. While not as sexy as 70-200LII, it's lighter, has range, and just as sharp in the field or actual use.
Versatility can be attested by variety in both the subject matter and notably camera to subject distance posted on this thread.

If it's in focus, it's pornography, if it's out of focus, it's art.

The sharpness and contrast of this lens continues to amaze me. A recent photo of my nephew.

Loving this little lens - it's just so flexible and the IQ is great. Here is a pano I made during a bird hunt while taking a break with the dog...it was originally a 100MB jpg and but I think I re-sized it TOO small, sorry!

Headed to the prairie for five days of pheasant hunting...hope to put this lens through it's paces.

Sorry each, have been neglecting this fine bit of glass recently. Trying to work on portrait stuff a bit more at the moment. I've managed to get a first paid wedding shoot for next year which I'm well chuffed about and looking forward too. This was one I took at a friends wedding a while back which was probably my fav from the day, and probably helped me get the wedding for next year :D

This lens did get a airing recently on my trip to the city centre. We have table tennis tables set up in random locations across the centre (Bristol, UK). Random people just come along and start playing against completely random strangers. I think it's a brilliant idea.

From my memeories of Bristol, I'm surprised the stuff doesn't get nicked?

Hey, that's my home town you're talking about!! :p

And to be fair, you could probably say that about most cities. But I'm also surprised the bats and ball are still there, the concrete tables are fairly safe tho!!

With the risk of stuff being swiped in a city centre, even more credit to us I reckon for putting them in to help make a better community.

Yeah, good on the council for giving it a go. If they tried it in Blackpool, the table would go, let alone the bat and ball
