ahh JD, that last lion cub - how cute is that - looks like you were really close. Great shot.

Gundogs wrote in post #16415510 (external link)
wow that will be brilliant for you won't it, kid in a candy shop 'n' all that ;) well done. It's not all about money :D

JD - wow lucky Cindy, so do these cubs grow up to be wild - or are they always going to live with human help?

Human contact ends at 18 months. It's all part of a program. Still investigating the company.

Terrific coverage, Mark! Have you been featured on Autumnwatch yet? I haven't seen any episodes yet this season.

Happy belated Birthday Adrian. Hope you had a good one mate.

Anyone get any good firework shots over the weekend? Had my first try at it but have yet to PP them.

Thank you everyone, did a 75 mile bike ride which meant I was knackered for the rest of day. Managed to raise over £400 for the Chartwell Cancer Trust which I am very please with.

Morning all.

Typical, raining on my day off!!

I am thinking of making a trip to Blakeney Point on either 3rd or 4th December weather permitting if anyone else is free. I will phone them to make sure, but looking at various websites, there don't appear to be any restrictions on going out to the beach. One of there walks even has the beach on it with the area the seals are.It would be an 8 mile walk so not for the faint hearted.

Ironically Tripadvisor is quite informative with people doing the same route

Wow that must be some experience getting that close to them.

Great safari pictures as well.

Very nice

Now....To lower the tone a little, I won a small, local photo comp recently that had a nice prize of a few bucks to spend on gear so....I'm now to proud owner of a grip for the 5D3 and a Manfrotto 190 tripod (tall enough not to give me back ache!!).
