A lot of great shots recently -- love all the early-morning shots + the Richmond ones. And looks like (belated) birthday greetings are in order for Adrian.

Anybody interested in doing a street photography outing in London? I appreciate good street photography (as in shooting strangers) and would love to do it, but just am not comfortable with pointing my camera in a stranger's face. Would be great to go out with others who are, so I can learn.

I went "home" to Dhaka, Bangladesh, last week over half-term. Although it is a bit strange to call Dhaka my home. I haven't lived there for almost 20 years. I feel/have felt the most at home in the Colorado mountains. The city now looks almost nothing like the city I grew up in. But it was a fun time nonetheless. It was my wife's 5th trip there, and the 2nd for our 6-year old (we took him when he was 18 months old, so this was the first time he could really appreciate and understand everything). Did some photography as well...

1. The greenery and open spaces (relatively speaking) of 20 years ago have been replaced by cramped apartment buildings.

2. Small single-family homes are rare these days -- all plots of land have been developed into apartment complexes.

3. There are some small pockets of greenery to be found though:

4. And the crows are still just as ubiquitous as before.

5. The traffic is immeasurably worse now (took about an hour to go 5 miles).

6. The skyline has a lot of shiny new buildings (the tower on the left is the new Westin hotel, which has a pretty decent mojito).

7. Some parts look like modern Asian metropolis, complete with flashing neon signs, electronic billboards, and skyscrapers (thankfully the aforementioned mojito didn't affect my hand-holding/pressing the tripod over the glass railing for this shot from the Westin).

8. But the real Dhaka is never far away.

this one stands out a mile to me - your shots are all fab Fuzz.

Tis interesting isn't it, how we all like shooting different things. I'm just thinking out loud really. And how we develop the skills for those particular subjects too. I"m rubbish at landscapes and cityscapes.

I like these two Fuzz as they show both sides of the city.

Some cracking shots over the past few days chaps to many to mention so a collective well done.

One from me from sunday shot with natural light at the old Harbour Station in Folkestone.

I do like the feel of this one Dom - but the angle makes her legs look really big and I have no doubt they are not at all.

Thanks Penel, I've already had my ear bent about angles and size of thighs etc a bit of grovelling was needed to restore myself to Kristina's good books.
