I like the poster a lot but I wish you had a better image of the young lady (perhaps you do).

Agree with Phil. The design is fine, but the photo isn't of the best quality and isn't compelling nor flattering.

I'm with Phil and Andrew. The design of the first, and now the second are good. The picture of the player is not so good. It's not sharp and her right arm obscures her face. Do you have a better picture of the player?

My only nit on the first design is that I would use a floor that is court material and not teak boat deck material.

Both designs are very good. I prefer #1. Your VB player capture have been discussed by Phil, Andrew and Jim, so I will address two issues with your posters. In the 1st poster, the main "lens flare" detracts from the player's face. I would have to experiment with it, to find the perfect spot for it, but IMHO, it needs to be moved. In the 2nd poster, your actual photo of the player needs to have the horizon leveled (counterclockwise "x" of degrees...Use your vertical lines to square it off.) Keep pursuing your designs, you most certainly are on the right path. :)

Thanks for all of the feedback, they are much appreciated. The image was given to me by the parent. I will fix the horizon levels in the second poster and move the lens flare.

totally agree with the others... I like design #1 best but your subject image is not what it should be for a poster
