The Diablo Bowmen range was pretty badly decimated. Of the four rounds (14 targets each round) all of them burned. We already bought the replacement target butts. I think they were installing some of them last weekend.

It didn't start at the Bowmen property, but fairly close to it from what I understand.

What do you shoot with? I have an Elite Pure.

Well, if you don't have to work on Friday, San Francisco is turning into Gotham City so a 5 year old can play Batman.
The boy has Lukemia and his wish is being fulfilled by The Make A Wish Foundation.

Here is the info (external link)

Hey, guys: there's a POTN thread in which a member from Boston wanted to find a particular spot in the Oakland hills with a very nice view of Oakland and SF. He couldn't find the spot - take a look and tell us if you know where it is:

My bet is the Mormon Temple or Ascension Cathedral parking lots. It is one of the two and you better have one heck of a supertele, stable tripod and a very cold Winter night. You are talking about a 11 mile shot.

That's in just the right area by my calculations. Can you get into these parking lots without authorization? Maybe I'll run over and have a look...

Yes you can for the Mormon temple as the the G.O. garage. Your guess is good as mine.
I'd wait until Th and then go to either side of the building on your right. After the rain stops should give you the best clarity and it might be cold too.

So? Has anyone had the opportunity to go check it out?
I know I haven't.
