Usually they have a note (in red text) stating that any use of coupons outside of Mr Rebates or purchasing gift cards would void MR cashbacks. If that was the case, I would of just cancelled my order and reordered without the gift card. I'll give up not using my $50 and get back $120.

Also, the people who are new to cashback sites do not get discouraged from very beginning. I tried ebates, mr. rebates, fatwallet over years and they all actually work remarkably well and reliable. I'm glad you did let us know because I was not aware of it, but now now we know. I probably would have used my Amex gift, via Mr. Rebates, but I chose to cash the card in for a cash payout. Gear
