Mkes me wonder if you can paint a camera. If done by a professional who knows what hes doing. I can think of many interesting camo designs to paint my 7D

There's a guy who painted all his Nikon gear camo. Don't remember what site it was on. Didn't look bad at all!

Hummmmm , I just want the white 40 mm .

This is what I have been thinking. I keep wondering how much it would cost me to sell my pancake and replace it with a white version.

I've often wondered why the super telephotos aren't camo as standard since most are used for wildlife.

It would look out of place at the Olympics, which are super-telephoto lens-manufacturer's bread and butter.

Im thinking a real tree artic camo pattern with the artic camo lens sleeve. Im gonna have to look into this. I mean as long as they tape everthing off right and stay away from the sensor and inside, should be okay. Wonder how the body will take to the baking on process or if they have another way of doing that.

I am guessing in Asia where this camera will be sold, the market will support it well. I don't really see them doing it just because. While in America and most of the world this would collect dust on shelves, I think asian countries have more demand for this type of stuff.

Just my guess. I personally would not, though :p

It will sell well here in Asia. White is by far the most popular color for cars and people pay more to have a white car. People also have different cultural tastes here. Pink and various shades of pink scooters are very popular here, but you would never buy one in America. Grown adults without kids put giant Hello Kitty stickers all over their cars, and it is not just the women. The culture is different in Asia and just because it does not fit western tastes, does not make it bad or wrong. The Canon M sold really well here, and I am sure the white EOS 100D will sell well also. People here love their colors. Phones, P & S cameras, and computers come in a wide variety of colors. Many people do not buy the black models.

White is the most popular car color in the US..and usually the brilliant or pearl whites cost more than the standard colors too :)

That said, people are not as inclined to be as concerned about colors in things like SLRs...the T3 did come in silver and red though as I recall.

Well, it will look great with a nice long L tele on it, finally they match a camera body color! (sorta).

A Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L paired up with this camera would be a good match.

Is anyone able to photoshop them together to see what it would look like?

Nah, the new Pentax.

Here's the circa 2009 "smallest DSLR ever" in white:

The Pentax looks hideous, the Canon looks kinda cool.
I can see plenty of young people (mostly female) favoring it.

It'd be hilariously ironic if it made Canon more $$$ than the Df makes for Nikon. :)

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

It's obviously targeted at female customers for the main part. But I gotta say that it looks better than I thought. And I'm curious to see how it looks when paired a white telephoto lens, e.g. 70-200 f/4 IS?
