Remembrance Sunday today in my home town of Daventry after the crowd had gone a chance for quiet reflection at the war memorial.

We will remember them.

Cheers mate I am on a steep learning curve having bought my first Digital camera and editing software. 49 years old and my kids are running circles round me

I would really recommend the David Taylor book Canon Powershot G1X THE EXPANDED GUIDE.

It is kind of the manual that should be in the box but isn't!

You can pick them up on E-Bay for less than a tenner including P&P, well worth it, here for example

The book has really helped me and I love posting on here and getting direct feedback it really is a superb forum, they are a really friendly bunch.

Have fun look forward to seeing some of your work.

Best regards
Paul

A 247page PDF handbook is no use to anyone Canon slipped up here I think. I have ordered a copy today of the David Taylor manual thanks for the tip.

The G1X is going to be my go to travel camera when I do not want to lug all my SLR equipment around.

I have had my G1X for almost a year and it's recently been to Russia and Japan. The results are fantastic. I'm posting a few of my favs.
OK I guess I need some help here. The message I'm getting when trying to attach photos is that they have too many pixels or something g like that. Now what ??
