^^ cool zoom burst! Was that on a tripod and did you zoom in or out? I'll have to try this.

EightEleven wrote in post #16446156 (external link)
I thought the same thing..
I found an article listing the procedure to get this effect in PS.. gonna try that too

Thanks! I think this one was zoomed in (I was experimenting with both) but wanted to try and give the impression of leading in to the middle through the trees. Handheld with elbow on a post to steady my hand but presumably you could get better results on a tripod. Cheers

mmmm cookies indeed.

Could use some WB adjustment and some brightness (IMO of course), but otherwise looks good.

MakisM1 wrote in post #16444304 (external link)
You can try a much higher ISO (3200) so that you get a decent shutter speed for sharper results. Don't be afraid of high ISO in the 60D... It can handle it well. I know the 18-200 can produce sharp images. Lovely cookies though..:D

watt100 wrote in post #16444754 (external link)
yes, WB adjustment, better exposure and a faster shutter speed (more than 1/15!) would help those cookies

Thank you for the feedback. The shot was SOOC .jpg. I shot it raw plus jpeg, I will play with the raw file when I get my new computer. I have CS6 and LR4 sitting in their boxes waiting to come out and play.
I should also mention I normally shoot in natural light, I am just starting to play with the flash too. I plan to get a few more YN560III's and a speed light softbox.
