Ya I will. I freaking loved my 6MDH, excellent bag but my problem was I always put too much and I have a steel bar in my shoulder so it would be over bearing. I sold it awhile back but want to try the next size down. I mainly just want the 6D 24-70 and the 35 but would be a plus if I can get the flash to fit.

Plus I notice there is a zipper pouch on the back and curious if it'll fit my Samsung Note 8.0. I'll report back.

Will not hold 8" tablet. And the gear is going to be a stretch to make fit.

source: 5mdh owner. my t3i with kit lens, 75-300, and 50mm were pushing it.

Came in today. crappity crap crap. Nothing fits.

6D w/ 24-70 w/ hood attached bag does not close. This is a 6D w/ two prime bag only for non hood users. UGH.

I LOVED my 6MDH but it was too large in the sense I could have 7D w/ 24-105 w/ hood extended and 430EX in center, 70-200 on side and 8mm and 85mm on other side = too much gear. I've since swapped most my gear around and wanted a smaller bag.

The 5MDH is simply too small for me to want to keep the hoods extended. I need a bag thats like a 5.5MDH :(

I was looking at the Think Tank sub urban 30 but it's the same size as the 6MDH so a tad too large. back to keep looking around.

I wish I would have seen your thread earlier, I would have demonstrated what you were asking for and linked you to a video on youtube.

Also, I went to this: http://www.timbuk2.com …ducts/snoop-camera-insert (external link)

I bought the medium and it is probably twice the capacity of the 5MDH. It gave me the freedom to shop for whatever I wanted. Ultimately, I threw it into a Jansport messenger bag. It fits into an RVCA bag that I have too. The medium would be comparable to the 6mdh, so maybe look into the small insert. Then go find you a nice bag that you like.

I never keep the hood extended when putting a camera/lens back in the bag. It only takes a second to turn the hood around. My 5DII with 24-70 fits in my 5MDH but it's a tight fit. I managed to fit the 5DII, 50L, 24-70L and 580exII in there but it was a chore. While not ideal it works for me when I don't want to carry the 8MDH or wear a backpack.

I was looking into the 6mdh earlier and found it a little too big for my day to day need. Someone recommended the Domke F-5XC, which may be what you are looking for.
