Hey POTNers

Soo during my two weeks out west this fall, on my list to do was seeing Bryce Canyon.
Holy Cow this National Park rules! Cannot wait for a return trip next year.

I arrived for a Sunset then stayed around for the Sunrise and this is what I got.

Gonna post my 8 per usual but I'll add a link to the 32 pics I uploaded to a Flickr set soo if you wanted to click through well click away.

These are all great! I have to say though, I think the first one may be my favorite just because it looks SO cool how those trees are growing in that canyon. That doesn't seem like it should be possible. Wonderful images!

Amber I thought the same thing while visiting this park with the trees popping out of weird spots, I wonder how long these trees have been there and if they were planted by say rangers or whoever responsible for it. it does add for the character and prettiness to the landscape. but yeah I do wonder how these trees grow in some of these places, just amazing. and thanks for liking that pic yeah love the lines going on here.

Hey Pete!! its you! I remember thanking you last year when I said I was planning a Fall trip based off some of your photo's in Colorado during a fall trip a year prior. your dates on the pics helped me pick my dates this year. soo thanks again. I have yet to post up my color pics from Colorado. well I guess I did post one thread in the people section here it is, lots of fall aspens there
https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1339688

and yeah on this walk down the canyon, I chicken'd out and did'nt go all the way down though, kicking myself afterwards for not doing it just to explore more.

Thanks Everyone else for the nice comments
Cheers
Steve

Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures. We visited mid-afternoon in June this year. The first shot captures my "take away" from our visit. :)

Wonderful shots! I missed out on Bryce in February when a big snowstorm chased me away. Your photos remind me I have to get back there.
