Exactly, I want a few good lenses rather than a big pile of average lenses.

So here's what I still have....
EF 70-200 2.8 L IS USM
Sigma 24-70 2.8 DG HSM EX
Bower 8mm 3.5 FishEye
Tamron 2x Tele-Converter
Vivitar Series 1 100-400 4.5-6.7 (Stuck with it I think)

Looking to get....

Canon 10-22 or Tokima 11-16
Canon 50/1.4 (maybe)

Based on this and other threads I think I'll need to save my pennies for a FF body.

For note; that 10-22 and Tokina 11-16 are both EF-S; so wouldn't work as well on FF. Depending on your FF upgrade time frame (6d out within a month; price drop in 6) you may want to hold off and get a 17-40 or similar with the FF body. (I love my Tokina 11-16; one thing that has me hesitating the FF jump.)

looking at your flickr, which i'm not sure if it's a true representation of what you shoot...i see no reason to go to a FF body...

also, if you're a bears fan...you have my condolences for last nights game :)

I probably am jumping the gun in some aspects, I'm wanting better stuff without having fully explored what I can do with what I have.

On my Flickr timeline only the pictures since late June or early July are with my T3i, the couple of years before that are with a PowerShot SX130. Everything prior to that is non-Canon.

Definite Keep
EF 70-200 2.8 L IS USM
......
I shoot with a T3i, usually around the Zoo, maybe walking around town or the forest preserve, looking to someday go beyond serious hobby.

Confused why your signature shows a 6D, but you usually use a t3i?

The t3i is long gone, a 7D has come and gone since then as well.

Even more confused, why did you just post that you shoot with a t3i, typo?

Probably because the original post is over a year old.

LOL I didn't notice that! How did it get revived?
