It wasn't only the hair and necklace on show that is all I'm going to say. Since it can be construed as something else, this is the reason why not only I complained, but I'm sure a few others complained about the links. Like I said, I don't want POTN to be embroiled in an argument as what is and what isn't. It's the POTN rule not to show child nudity, every user should go along with it

Can you give more info about what else is in the image and the pose?

post what you are looking at.
The links had 3 shots of her topless. If those sites and mags had no problem, why here? I am not boss here, but the people cant see what the post is about. So Google her, and shut off adult content filters.

Do you really want that kind of info? Even if it weren't in anyway sexual, it still can be construed as wrong.

Yes. I actually want to know which images you're talking about. That's why I asked.

Since you took the time to complain, and you're sure others complained... I'd like to know if you have an issue with particular image, what it is and why.

Ideally, something more specific beyond "immoral, wrong, pedofood..." THAT kind of info. The specific kind.

Sooo (just playing devils advocate here) if I go on a trip to say Africa or South america to visit a tribe (yes, unlikely I know, but bear with me), i need to take a bag of clothes with me for the kids to put on before I can take photos? National geographic seems not to have this trouble. Or do we assume that all pedophiles are also racists and are only interested in photos of half naked white kids?

(I'm not arguing abuot forum rules here -- they are what they are and the forum has the right to have whatever rules it wants)

are you planning to dress them in the latest western style clothing and jewelry, take along a make up artist and hair stylist and teach them how to pose like women twice their age?

you're comparing apples and some non-food item.

After seeing this thread a couple of times, I finally looked up the photos. Now I have to wonder if Vogue is trying to increase their demographic to include pedophiles who are looking for fashion accessories. :-)

I thought it was the lack of clothing that was the issue here, not that the clothes she IS wearing are inappropriate.

And I think it kinda is apples to apples -- generally kids in these tribes are wearing exactly the same kind of clothing and hair styles and makeup as the adults of those tribes. And probably standing in more or less the same way as the people twice their age.

Really the only difference is that no-one is trying to look sexy as where in the west we expend a huge amount of effort to do so as adults.

Do I have a problem with kids looking like adults? No. Do I have a problem with kids looking sexy? Yeah, that is really off obviously. Tho I didn't really see any overtly 'sexy' photos when I google serched it.

I did the same, went and looked up the photos. Seriously, I see nothing different between her pics and the Toddlers and Tiaras type stuff. Personally i find both a tad creepy, but to label it wrong or pedo-food is a bit over the top.

I'm with you on that - I don't see any of these as really terrible, tho some are a bit uncomfortable.

But it's a world apart from the Brooke Shields in the bath photo; very tarty makeup, full frontal nudity. That literally made me want to throw up.

DO NOT google that at work, or anywhere in public for that matter. In fact, just don't google it at all -- will be better for you; you can't un-see these things :(

(I think it was Brooke Shields, but was a long time ago I saw it -- it made the news in the UK when it was put up in an art gallery then taken down again very quickly due to the public outrage. Similar situation -- googled it to see what the fuss was, but in that case I really regretted having done so)

aka Thylane Lena Rose Blondeau

on her way to a Brooke Shields way of life, who modeled nude in the bathtub for a photog who posted the photos on his web site in the early 90's.

Why? Did G-Men come to get ya? Were you taken to the big house where old Joe made you his girlfriend?

So if I go to south of France or Spain or Italy, or Brazil, or anywhere in Africa, or the Caribbean Isles, or really 95% of the world(besides Canada and America) where women go topless on the beaches, or tribes walk around nude, I'll have the Feds after me.

No, because it made me sad :(

There's a big difference between a happy naked child playing on a beach and a sad looking child made up a like a hooker being made to stand naked in a bathtub to be photographed

Inappropriate images, please, if in doubt, why don't you ask a mod or admin as to why they don't want links of such images, it's because most servers won't allow images to be linked

Er, are you sure you're not thinking about the movie (quick IMDB search) 'Pretty Baby'.
