Refurbished Canon from 3rd party reseller like B & H ok?

Thinking of buying a refurb 7d.

B & H has them as well as Canon Direct. B & H says they are refurbed by Canon. Kind of prefer the B & H offer because Canon is bundling it with some accessories I don't need.

Has anyone bought a refurb Canon camera from B & H? If so was it the same as one from Canon Direct?

Thanks1

I've been told the same thing, that B&H gets their refurbs direct from Canon.

Having said that, my niece ordered a T4i directly from Canon today. She was going to do the Canon Loyalty Program but some holiday sale got her a better deal. So I suggest you check the prices at both sources.

Adorama also has good refurb deals - check them all

Thanks! :D Adorama refurbs certainly are refurbished by Canon - and currently come with a 12-month return-to-Canon warranty (which includes 30 days return-to-Adorama if you are unhapppy for any reason).
I would assume that other reputable retailers also get their refurbs from Canon.

Helen, can you describe the differences in condition ratings from the Adorama site to the used cameras found on Amazon? I recognize that the conditions are different. I just need clarification as to which is related to which.

I'll need to check with the Adorama used dept and get back to you (btw you realize that refurbs and used are very different beasts?)

Purchased a t3i refurb a few months ago and I could not be happier. Actuations were under 400. It is flawless and worth it. Refurb all the way.

I agree. This year I purchased my T4i with the 18-135 STM as a refurb. It looked new, had 29 actuations. Couldn't be happier!

Does that include Canon Refurbs purchased from Adorama's Ebay Store?
