My wife made me cookies. Mmmmm-mmmm.
First attempt at shooting food. No planning, just grabbed a few pieces of china and cookies. Bounced the Yongnuo 560 III off the ceiling. Yup, I need more practice.
Shot with the kit 18-200.

That sig 35 on your camera should give excellent results. For indoor its 1.4 and crisp edges should be far superior to the kit.

Oh my! That is stunning, but I'm disappointed that the toes are cut off. A bit more space around the whole bird would make this a perfect image IMHO .

Hello gang

Just a short note to let you know that I'm on the move. I've literally been round in circles trying to decide on glass and/or camera upgrades.

I've been from sigma 18-35, to 16-35L, to 50mm 1.4, to 70d, to 7dii (if and when), to 6d, and finally decided to go feet first and get a 5diii. Although the deal with the wife is that I'm never allowed to buy anymore camera gear, ever again!! I'll test the water in a year or so tho!!

I'll continue to enjoy this thread and comment on some of the amazing pics here.

Thanks for all the information I've picked up here and for the feedback, always much appreciated.

Jon
