Refraction shots using water spray on a spectacle lens. All have been focus stacked using zerene.

These are great. For professional readons I prefer no. 2! Out of interest, is the original object behind the spectacle lense? If so, where with respect to the focal point?

Ed not sure if you mean the focal point of the glasses but that does not have anything to do with it. The only reason I use old spectacle lenses for this is they have a nice hydrophobic coating. Try this on plane glass and you just get smearing. The object or cards are about 2" behind the lens. It seems to work as a rule of thumb when playing with water drop refractions that you need the refracted subject about 1 subject diameter behind the drops. The image in the drop actually appears in front of the focus point for the drops in the camera.
