Yeah, the fact that Amazon now collects sales tax in VA hurts (and did when I got the 16-35) gives something of sticker shock when the final bill tallies up.

I love the 6D; it just makes the 16-35 shine, and the noise performance at higher ISOs is fantastic--no need for a flash except for fill light. Unfortunately, now I am really eyeing the 24-70 2.8 (don't think I can afford the rumored IS 2.8 next year, though--the regular is pricey enough). So yes, an expensive addiction which feeds itself indeed!
