Thank you, just to ask, what would you do with the watermark? Always up for some C&C!

Well, just for that shot maybe lose the wording and shrink the logo a little bit. I don't use watermarking, so it's not something I really think too much about.

Here is the article for the paper with unwatermarked images: http://theeastcarolinian.com/?p=31043 (external link)

The main reason I use watermarks is for advertisement. A lot of the players will post them on facebook/instagram and I try to place them in places where the watermark will be seen even cropped for social media

Drew I do the same thing with my model shots, it's ugly but watermark the crap out of them the girls put them on FB and twitter so it gets your name out.
It definatly works because I am starting to get models emailing me for portfolio updates etc.

To be honest, the watermark was so discrete, I went back and looked hard to see what the fuss was about.

@Stro: Here is a photo of your old neighborhood, I am on Dunlavy shooting towards Alabama.

HEB camera left, the old Fiesta lot (future The Suzanne Appartments) to the right.

I agree with Pauly and Lisa.

Thinking about getting my website together soon and then putting the URL somewhere in my watermark to generate traffic that way too.

This was on Slickdeals this morning, it looks like Newegg might be the place to go. Not sure if it's today only or not... I wouldn't wait.

Adobe Lightroom 5 $59.99 shipped
Credit to loth8938 who posted this in the Newegg $80 thread, but thought this was great enough to deserve it's own subject! bounce

Use shellshocker link for $69.99:
http://www.newegg.com/Special/ShellShocker.aspx (external link)

Apply code LR5CM for additional $10 off.

Vix don't know if it's the same but when I joined adobe cloud and installed lightroom 5 and photoshop all my lightroom plugins and presets all moved accross without me doing anything and still worked.
In photoshop I had to reinstall the plugins but all my custom actions were imported and worked. It saved me loads of time.
