Let me know if either of you who bought the 50mm 1.4 has had a status update or not. So far nothing for me.

Customer support said mine was sent to the shipping department today. No email update yet though.

Mine shipped today and has tracking available via eBay. My order was towards the end of the 676 sold so everyone should be safe.

Figures, I say something good about them, and then...

I bought the Canon EF 100Mm f/2.8L Macro from Buydig on Saturday, have a tracking number on Saturday, which indicates a delivery on Wednesday. The tracking number shows nothing today, "Not Found". Call FedEx, they say that Buydig just gave them the package today. Call Buydig, they tell me FedEx made a mistake scanning the package, and Buydig says they will expedite the shipping.

This doesn't sound right, so I call FedEx again and they say that's impossible without a new tracking number/shipment. I call Buydig back and this time get an rep that tells me Buydig shipped it late because they were busy, and that FedEx is correct, there is no way to expedite shipping on a package already shipped.

So while certainly legit, they can have issues, and if you get the right rep when you call, you can get the facts. But Buydig does not have HelenOster! :)

Steve

My 50mm 1.4 just came, but it didn't require a signature... is that normal?

still waiting on my 70-200 mk2. It said shipped expected thursday (last week)

although I've bought cameras from them before and they have been fine. i'm guessing it's just the catching up they are doing from sales.

edit- got an email back. looks like it was shipped. it's fed ex's fault for missing the schedule.
hopefully get it today or monday.

I had bought the Canon 50mm 1.4 through Buydig on Rakuten.com for $339 right before they offered the ebay $279 deal. I got mine delivered in a week without any issues. I had emailed them to try to get a price match, but they promptly replied to me stating that the ebay pricing was a one day special so no price match. It was fine to me as Rakuten was offering a 13% credit back so that brought the price down to $295.

Also, bought a Canon macro 60mm 2.8 and the 430 Speedlite from Buydig/Beach Camera and delivered without hassle. Very reliable company from my experiences.
