Maybe it was the two pints of ice cream (in different but harmonizing colors) and the bag of caramel balls for that still life a few G-series competitions ago. No, after the ice-cream still life, I did a popcorn still life, for which I bought a wedge of expensive Parmesan cheese because the cut edge had an attractive texture. Certainly no gear purchases recently.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | IMAGE EDITING OK

You sure you weren't just hungry? ;)

Most recent purchase for me was some ink and paper on black Friday. And the week before, I bought a couple more used Yongnuo transceivers from the POTN classifieds. Currently, beginning some pre-shopping on light stands and umbrellas.

I'm boringly practical with my purchases (I've shot 75 weddings with the same canon 5d classic, impervious so far to upgrading--though I can certainly afford to do so). My last purchases were a 28" Westcott Apollo softbox and a boom arm + stand, both specifically purchased for a model shoot. Oh, yes, and just last month I picked up a yongnuo 560 iii (manual wireless flash).

A month ago I bought a Hoya 72mm variable ND filter with a couple step up rings so I could use it on a few different lenses. A couple months before that it was a set of used yn-622c's and a new yn-565ex. These were to upgrade from my rf-603's and a couple 560's. I'm planning on nickel and dime-ing myself to death as opposed to sucking it up and grabbing a lens or two that I would really like to have!

Not very exciting, but I had to buy a new hood for my 24-105. Took a slide on the snow and landed on top of my 7D+24-105. Got up, lifted up the camera to take a look and the camera and lens seemed fine, but the hood just sort of comically peeled off and landed on the ground next to me.

My ass/arse did not fare as well.

Last major one was a new tripod setup this year, Feisol tripod, PhotoClam ballhead(red - v nice) and RRS lever clamp. Super sweet. Not cheap, but cheaper than Gitzo + Markins + RRS and probably better (JMO of course).

I do most of the photography for the company I work for and I recently got an ASUS memopad to keep a selection of pictures to show clients 'in the field'.

Some cameras. Some lenses.

^^^ almost the same :).
New strap, extra qr plate for tripod head (so no more switching between cameras, they now each have their own) and a battery for my AE1.

A 36" 5-in-1 reflector - it's the largest size I can get in teh laptop pocket of my camera backpack.

Last purchase before that was the backpack :)

All the stuff I've owned at one time or another
