Don't look now Penel but had access to a fantastic roof today. Top of Thomas More Square.
Shame it was such a crappy day weather wise but hopefully I'll get back up there on a better day. The site is normally looked after by another engineer but it looks like the site may become mine :-)

Lovely set, makes me very nostalgic! I used to live just the other side of Thomas Moore Square, such a great area :)

Wow, you're not kidding. Great shot! From Blackfriars bridge?

The missus and I are still planning on heading down to Hyde Park on the 14th if a few others are up for it. Otherwise we'll probably go in a weekday during the xmas week as I'm off then.

Nice!

How are they lit? I'd like to think the pipe is lit using light painting.

Looking for something different to photograph? How about The Enchanted Woodland at night at Syon Park, Isleworth. I went reluctantly with the kids and was bowled over!

A mile of pretty colour lit trees and a laser show in an amazing greenhouse.

Daily mail article for more info (external link)

Bring a tripod! I didn't have one so you should be able to do a lot better than these:

Thought you might like these, Victor :) This is a pipe system that carries the River Grom underneath The Pantiles here in Tunbridge Wells.

Yep, pitch black down there, just light painting with torches.

Chris I love the underground tunnel shots. I thought it was a sewer though sorry :o

Fab - Clare went there last year and we're thinking of going in the next week or so. I don't think I'm very good at night photography though!

Met up with a friend I haven't seen for 4 years this evening. Fellow Canon user (6D and 3 L lenses). After a couple of hours of drinking and shooting the breeze in his pub, I came away with his 8-15 f4 L fisheye on loan for a week!! to say I want one is an understatement!!! :D

Evening all

Been away in Devon & Cornwall the past few days on business........4.5 hour 225miles back this evening ~ k*****red :(

Many nice images ~ lovely canine ones from Penel (I learned one of my customers has a Black German Short haired Pointer a GSP he referred to as!) must Google as I have never heard of that dog.

Fuzzsummit ~ nice sets of London stuff

Andy ~ great high level shots especially the "look down" ones. And as for the FE ones, superb bus and doorknocker ones ~ FWIW I rented the 10-22 for the last Venice trip and it never left the body.......WA and UWA gives one a new & interesting perspective on the subject(s).

Chris ~ ah! more subterranean work I see ;)

Sorry if I have missed anyone for now as was too much to take in ???

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Good luck with your mongrel horde today!
