Haven't paid any tax for a while.
here's a couple from Alice Springs Speedway a few weeks ago.

A pretty funny back story.
It goes something like this...

"Let's take the wife's car to speedway tonight.
There's a burnout competition during the break.

There are various sessions you can come to, $15 covers the cost for the WHOLE DAY (come to as much or as little as you'd like!).

DATE: Sunday 15th December 2013
TIME: 2:30pm - 8:00pm

Royal Botanic Gardens,
2:30pm: Meet outside Observatory Café on Birdwood Avenue, South Melbourne. 4:00pm: Meet at BBQ pits on North side of Botanic Gardens along Yarra River

EVENTS:
2:30pm-4:30pm: Guided Tour and Macro Shoot (Flowers and Bugs)
4:30pm-5:00pm: Gearhead briefing (News from the land of pixelpeepers)
5:00pm-6:30pm: BBQ and Food and mingling
6:00pm-8:00pm: Golden Hour and Sunset Portraiture (with Professional models and guidance from experienced photographers)

COST:
Cost: $15 per photographer total for whole day - includes food and model fees. You do NOT have to submit photos to models as they are being paid.

There are a couple on eBay ; this (external link) one apparently comes with a 5yr aus warranty (guessing it's a 3rd party deal). And this (external link) used one for a pretty good 'buy it now' price.

Looked at the Sigma, and ****, I didn't realise it cost so much. 3.5k for grey import from DWI!

yea, been watching the 100-400's on ebay, 2 have gone for retail, few gone for cheaper, missed ONE that went for <800 :'(

Same problem with the Sigma ... Nearly cried... the reviews are amazing.
