I was going through old archives and decided to edit this one from Whistler (winter 09/10).

And here's one from March that I decided to PP in B&W.

This one is from last season in March. It was a bit of a 'whoops' photo but it's sort of grown on me over time despite the slow shutter and my buddy nearly crashing :P.

Stoked to have landed a job that lets me shoot skiing photos every day of the year (and get paid to ski around, I'm not complaining!)

My jealousy is palpable. That is really sick though, dude. I look forward to seeing how your work develops with you shooting even more this season.

Grats. Me too! My local mountain told me to stop wasting my time with volunteering and just do what I love for free. win-win! :D :D

Cali Gays and Gals: Bear mountain is open officially for the season since last Wednesday. Chair 9 (Intermediate to advance) is fully operational form the top of the mountain. Get up the mountain and show your pictureZ!

all of your angles are pretty wack. Can't really see what's going on...also, lose that watermark haha. It's a little distracting.

boy, very nice!

the lighting is good but you HAVE to show where the rider came from and where tey are going. How do we know that this is JUST a down rail. How do we not know that there could be a donkey kick at the bottom or maybe the rail is a down flat down.

I'm not a huge fan of the second one, but whatever

both lighting set ups:
430ex @ full power, camera left
420ex @ full power, on camera

Get closer, get lower. The keys to shooting action sports with a fisheye.
