Which external hd

I'm looking for an external hard drive to use with my MacBook Pro. I have the solid state 256 gig on my machine so I will be using an external to store my images. Any preference on which external to buy

I use a G drive (Hitachi) for Time Machine and a Seagate for my photos. Don't know if it is ideal but seems to work well.

I keep all my libraries (LR, iTunes...etc.) on a LaCie 2Big 6TB running RAID 1 3TB mirrored. I have a Time Capsule doing backup of the internal SSD and the LaCie 2Big. By keeping the libraries on an external drive I keep at least 500GB open on the internal 756GB SSD for doing multi week photo trips.
