From the OP on the first post:

That's true, but the OP doesn't specify "Raw".

Now, that being said, the "Game" aspect does encourage folks to "play"...

There is a reason why our "Raw Conversion" thread does actually try to "enforce" Raw processing only!

Yeah, this is about having some fun. Most people have posted raw files, but if someone wants to post a jpeg that's fine too. I tried to keep the rules to a minimum (they are posted below) in order to keep the fun at maximum.

The rules are:

*Don't manipulate the photo to the point where it's unrecognizable. Finish the photo, don't go all George Lucas on it.
*Each round of the game goes for a week or so, then whoever posted the original picture chooses a winner, and the winner posts their own picture.

Busted by the Fun Police!

I'll come up with something to post later tonight. It will be a raw file, but it will be from a 5D or 5DII, so pretty much every raw converter out there will be able to convert it.

Here is the raw file I chose:

https://www.dropbox.com …y225eq7s1rb8/_MG_0117.CR2 (external link)

It is a 5D file I shot a few years ago at one of the US Gran Prix Cyclocross races. Anyone who has raced cross, or anyone who has ever hit the wall in any competitive endeavor, will know the feeling conveyed by the blank, 100 yard stare on this competitor's face.

Have fun!

I worked 3 different edits, but I think I like this one the best.

I thought the weather should match her mood. Kirk, I forgot to add congrats. I think the Capitol Records building inspired both our edits.

I wanted to keep it moody and have the colors play around, but still make it look like it was shot on film.
