Nice lighting but you need to watch this It's all in the jaw with Peter Hurley (external link)

THANK YOU! Seriously, you hit it square on the jaw. I always appreciate a good tip. Now I'll have to try it.

You'll feel like a fool when doing it and people might snigger a bit but you'll look better in photographs from now on :D

Here's one I took this summer. Nothing to tricky just a snapshot.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

Duff, You did pretty good. A couple of suggestions would be of course that jaw line trick. I just watched the video and will be using that a lot. Bring the camera up about another foot and if possible move the camera back and then give a little more space between you and the backdrop. Post the pictures when you do them. We would love to see.

I dread taking self-portraits and I find them to be the most difficult of my subjects. I set up for a Christmas photo with my girlfriend and snapped a couple of myself while checking the lights. I think I did alright...

Duff, after looking at the pictures again maybe my advice on a foot higher might be to much. Try 4-6 inches.

I was wondering where you were. You were conspicuous in your absence.

Why do you keep selling your cameras?
