Welcome to the new thread focusing on Comic Book, Movie & Cartoon Related Collectibles. I'm hoping that folks who photography their Bowen Designs, Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys, Super Robots, Godzilla & Ultraman, etc...collections will post their pics. I know we already have an "Action Figure" thread, but these types of items cost in the hundreds to thousands of dollars. I don't see a Master Replicas Nautilus or an EXP Batwing or a Master Replicas Star Trek Enterprise as "action figures" and I think these high end items deserve their own thread, so that those of us who photograph them can learn from one another & appreciate each others' skills. I hope the mods will see that there is a need for this thread & allow it to remain.

For my pics, I am using a Canon XSi & switch between two lenses: a Canon 60mm f/2.8 Macro & a Canon 24-70mm Zoom. I am also using Westcott's 3 Light Kit & a black stretch velvet material as my backdrop.

I'm glad you started this thread. I was the graphic designer for the Bowen's from about 1996-2000. I've let most of my collection go over the years but have kept some of my absolute favorites and will add a few here every once in awhile.

The Marvel stuff was most style sheets from Marvel, but they gave us a lot of leeway to customize it.
