Here is another old photo I dug up of a Vermilion Flycatcher, which I thought I could make a little better. Feel free to Critique same as before.

Looks good, much tougher braches to remove. The red looks blown in the after.

What I learned about the difficulty with red. To get detail in red areas, you have to underexpose a little and bring up the exposure in PP.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | IMAGE EDITING OK

Way oversharpened, red is way too blown out and the edges of perches are obvious where you cleaned. I like the before much better.

I agree with y'all's thoughts on the red, I think I overdid it on the saturation. I noticed the the top part of the branch I forgot to touch up as well. I'll make the corrections. As far as the branches I think it just looks odd in some areas because the background was blurred anyway so there was never much definition. Thanks for the critiquing!

Mike, try cropping to a vertical shot as well. I think that might enhance the shot with the way you have the branch going vertical.
