lovely shot only nitpick i have is the left hand placement when possible try to make the side of the hand visible only.... when you shoot palm up or down it really makes it look larger and catches the eye... at least it does for me... otherwise love the bokeh

Thanks, trying to keep it under f2 and very good pointers - I need to watch these things.

I am finding this version of Sigma lens is a good copy or at least is working well with the 1D3 - I have a small MFA which seems to apply for all lens on this particular body rather than just this lens.

know what you mean the more reading i do the more things i notice that i have done incorrectly as well... you other hand placement was excellent.. and ya that lens looks awesome its the next one i will be picking up

Totally a novice, but I was taking a photography class and got some nice pictures with my 50 f/1.8. Not much editing done to them. Would appreciate feedback, positive or negative. :)

My daughter got her face painted at a school function and wanted me to get a picture of her looking like a "mysterious snow princess" a la the movie Frozen. This was my attempt at it with my 85 f/1.8...my current favorite lens.

I don't use flickr but I would rather use it than photobucket when I put an image in using flickr I get the same thing.
