Shipping a lens

Is it just me or is it just crazy that the last time is was scanned was in NJ on the 3rd. I'm ready to choke somebody. Glad I won't be getting any shots from the Christmas program tonight...Oh wait I do still have my cell phone.

Did the lens arrive yet?

You without a doubt have a problem way long in coming. Seller has your money and shipped the lens
not his problem anymore. Contact your local post office have your tracking number they can do more for
you than anyone else. More than likely package stuck in some corner of the NJ center. Good Luck.

It is the seller's responsibility until item arrives in buyers hand. If you paid via Paypal and seller is not cooperating open up a dispute and they will hold the money and likely refund you.

Of course, if he already withdrew the money and closed down his Paypal account than not much you can do.

Not sure but I think what your saying would only apply if it were a E-Bay transaction. It
would not matter if the seller withdrew the money and closed out the account E-Bay would
make good to the buyer. I think private transaction you are on your own.

Any updates? Let us know what the outcome was.

As for shipping, I almost always use USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground and I always let the prospective buyer know up-front which method I'll be using. (And I cover the costs.) If they prefer a different method, I will certainly accommodate, but I'll usually have them cover the difference.

UPDATE I did finally get the lens. I have no idea why but it sat in NJ for 9 days. Finally received it 2 days after it moved from NJ. Here's what I learned. If I ever ship a lend out I'll use a more reputable shipper and I will ship it 3 days or less with insurance.
