Good stuff, I do like the Zero G fishing shot... might have to do a bit of that myself over the summer .
Also the drama in the sky in 2 & 4.

I like the look of HDR images ...until there are close ups of people in them. Then the surroundings still look spectacular, but from what I've seen, IMO, people look unnatural.

Got to do some more reading I guess.
I didn't realize the 70D was capable of 7 shots.
I was under the impression they were limited to 3 ? ???

When I first got the 70D my one disappointment was that magic Lantern wasn't developed for it yet, as I used that on my 600D for bracketing. Then I stumbled on the fact that the 70D can take up to, and including seven shots!! Might have been in a magazine review I think.

Anyway - Custom Function menu 1, and set it there. Auto exposure bracketing in the usual way, and I use 2 second timer drive mode, and even upgraded to Photomatix Pro, seeing as I have seven shots! Fun!

I haven't done people but I see from your image they do look unnatural. I use it for landscapes, especially when there's stormy clouds, and strong contrasty light. I did bracket the guy in the zero gravity chair will process that and have a look. Might be okay though, as he isn't looking into the camera.

Here's the zero gravity guy - seven bracketed shots in camera, processed using the "natural" setting in Photomatix Pro, then cropped, light levels and curves in PSE 11.

That looks good--really good Rosey---to be fair I just let Photomatix do its thing with 3 bracketed shots from a 3ti the other week when the in-laws were visiting. Didn't adjust anything--just selected one of the presets. Lot of the presets looked more guady than the one I posted which was most natural. Think I need to learn about layers and the like. Or maybe area brush in Lightroom. Just in my image the color tones on the people are a bit much for my taste.

I'm noticing a HUGE difference in colour and clarity from Photomatix Essentials to Pro version. The first time I ran that bracket through Photomatix I got something very garish! I also found that letting PSE 11 do auto levels was big mistake - changed the blues entirely.

Hmm, I used pro version. Next time I will explore the sliders a bit, rather than accepting a pre-set.

Nice
the first photo from the kit lens is like a macro lens clear and sharp

indeed. the 18-135 STM kit absolutely negated my want for an 18-270 lens :D all around lens.

nice short MFD too at 135mm to get that shot.

I'm thinking there's probably a method where you could process the properly exposed shot separately, then copy the group of people over onto the HDR image. I don't know how to go about it, but imagine it's possible. The processing gurus will probably advise.

Is there a protective sheet for the 70d? I loved using my vello one with my 60d sonim wondering if I can add the same or maybe another one. I hate having grease prints and nose printa on my screen!!!

Canon 70D/70-200 f4/17-55 2.8/BG-E9/430EZ I like DSLR's. It makes a distinction between photo fans and normal people who don't give a damn how a picture could look like

Don't know what software you have but here's a method with PSE 11:
