This is a recent local sunrise I photographed - Tynemouth Longsands on the north-east coast of England.

I have been photographing sunrises/sunsets for years but I reckon this is one of the most vivid I have ever seen. For just 2/3 minutes everything took on an orange glow. All the traffic on the seafont even came to a standstill to take it in.

The only thing I have done to the image in Photoshop is to watermark it. The colours you see are what I seen. It was a "goosebump" moment for me :D
